Oh goodness its nice to be home! Back to the normal ratio of people, seeing old friends, maybe even busting out the shorts that have long since been stored away when we moved up to da Tech. =) Right?? hah =)

Its a nice feeling to get to be a girl again as well. I didn't realized how much I missed my girls until coming back home. Are you feeling the same thing?

But anyway this isn't my point hah =)

So its memorial day weekend. aka - garage sales, awesome food, stuff for summer everywhere on sale - good times had by all. Today I started collecting things for camp packing and decided to check out the bras that I was ever so much in need of. Naturally I check out the women's section and much to my suprise (as I'm not especially blessed in that region hah =p) there weren't many in my size. Oh well. Now Worries right? But Low and Behold! On the way out of the women's section I passed the girl's section. Why look - training bras! hah =) And an abundance of ones in cute colors, styles, and my size!!! And the best part is they are roughly 25-30% cheaper than Women's! YES! hah =)

So even though I haven't ever classified myself as a woman, its nice to know the underwear department's opinion and that I am at least on my way to having the title of woman =p

Hey Everybody =)

This weekend has been crazy good fun. =) So now im sharing hah =)

So on Friday -

late morning, early afternoon - Janelle and I went rummaging. It was pretty fun too considering practically everywhere had baby clothes and as Janelle is pregnant we were having fun observing the incredible cute/weird/totally 90's baby clothes we found. The greatest amusement though had the be the tinyest (sp) socks we found in the world. they were uber cute but only a little under the size of my thumb. We found some in different color patterns and such and just couldn't stop laughing cause they were a quarter each pair and obviously the cloth involved made it worth no more than 5 cents per pair and we were being screwed by the gov. (guess you had to be there =p hah)

Next came the squirel adventure. Picture a squirel family living in an attic. There only way in is through a vent situated where the two slanted roofs connect - so somewhat of a difficult area to get into. So mom is bringing in the babies. the last one accidently fall 3 stories down. Still alive. but come on three stories. Baby climbs up again and after a while mom comes out of the vent to take baby in again. Baby falls Again... now mom gets irritated and won't come out of the vent for a long time. Meanwhile the baby is at the top, and other babies have their head out the vent looking at it. Finally mom comes out and baby get in. All is right with the world. I have pics too so they should be up soon. Squirels have been watched by everyone at my house including friends kent and jon these past couple days.

Then rollerblading with Anna. Now everything with Anna is amazingly fun =). So soon you shall see those pics as well because we took some really cool pics of the sun setting over the park/harbor (in addition to our acrobatic stunts =p hah)

Then after that I managed to make my way to the one Club in Escanaba. Go figure a club in yooperville. Well to some extent. It was actually pretty fun. I got to see some old friends, realize there actually are young people still in town, dance to crappy music, and see my bro's good friend Tommy and his girlfriend dancing (oh they are so Cute!!!)

Saturday was good fun too... Sorry this is getting long =) hah

Went to the Academy of Dance dance revue. It was the first one in 13 years that I actually watched and didn't dance in. It was cool to see all my friends dance that I hadn't seen all year! (and they came up afterwards and were like - you know about our grad parties right? cause we have to catch up - I was so touch - they are so cute). Plus I got to see all the babies dance and get mixed up and turn the wrong way which was very very cute. =)

Then I met up with Jon and Kent and with all three of us playing guitar have slowly began learning how to play the lead guitar part to Emily by From First to Last (Indi (sp) group - check um out). We also watched the movie Waking Life. Have you seen that movie?

Sunday = rainy day =(

But I got my Fortune Lake packet. Making me ever more excited to start working there on June 1st!!!

So yes that has been my weekend - lots happened, hah it was odd hah =)

Hey Guys =)

So summer finally started. Whoot Whoot. Now time to get caught up somewhat. I still need to do a ton at home but so it goes.

Work started with my parents this week. Good fun Good fun. Random hours are great. Its sort of like "Stacey lets go work for four hours" and its already 4/5pm. But no worries at all! Its just nice to be at home and seeing everybody again. (Gotta love those semi aqward (sp) moments though when you see people from high school that you haven't talked to in a while and aren't really sure what to say).

I absolutely Can't Wait for June 1st! That is when I start a workin at Fortune Lake Lutheran Camp. So, So, excited. I'll be able to be outside and play a little ultimate.

I hope you all are doing well! Please let me know what you have been up to if you have a chance =)

Gosh I feel pretty hahah =)

Ok So last weekend I went with my friend Gordon from the Frisbee Team to his military ball / formal dinner. (Yeay I get to wear a dress)

BUT - now tonight I was asked to go to the Sig Tau formal with my friend Mitch and then a couple hours later was asked by my one of my other friends if I had a was available to go to the formal - so - yeay =) haha I feel pretty

and this is not in an "im so hott/pretty/cute" way either... You must understand - back in high school I was not the girl asked to anything - I was all the girls friends and all the guys "advice" girl you know - and i wasn't the girliest girl either hah (go figure right?) :-p - i was more likely to say "hey now" and wasn't afriad to speak up... and as we all know high school boys weren't into that haha =)

So yes - sorry to be like "look at me" "look at me"..... not so cool... but im just excited =)

Hello Everybody =)

So Stacey has finally gotten off her butt to write you guys the letters you all deserve for the letters you have given me. Thank you for those. =)

So this semester at Tech. Crazy Crazy =) haha. I started off with 22 credits but now I am down to 17 and Much Much happier and less stressed – who would have guessed =).

The classes I still have are pretty cool actually. I know school being fun … but I’m a nerd I am allowed to be dorky =) hah. Here is a list I guess =p

Engineering – this semester in this class we are working on an awesome design project where we are improving a vending machine through analysis and designing a new model in 3-D space. We also need to make a computer program that will allow the machine to simulate a vending occurrence. The cool thing with my team’s vending machine though is that it is an alcohol vending machine with a Breathalyzer and trivia game portion. (We needed something that would appeal to the mass – we are not alcoholics =) haha.) It was hilarious though because as we were brainstorming the project our teacher came in and added into it… “ you guys should have a driving video game component”… it was great haha =)

Chemistry and Physics are Chemistry and Physics. Except in Physics we have an interesting teacher who has been around for 500 years that knows nothing about the subject. Always a good time… but you know =) no worries

World Cultures is fun although annoying. It is in one of the biggest lecture halls on campus and some of my closest friends are in the class so its nice =) Our teacher is cool and informative but he likes to hear himself talk… making it somewhat annoying when the class lasts for its complete two hour period… =) hah

So Other then Class work =) haha

Dorm life is fun and interesting as always =) Snowball fights, cooking, randomness all good fun. =)

Recently we found the largest container of pickles outside just chillin on a windowsill and crazily enough one of the girls in my hall was in love and took it inside and ate all the pickles =)

Oh! Some big funny occurrences. This semester I have joined the online cult that is thefacebook.com. It is a really cool site – you register and can find people from all different colleges. But this site also has this feature called “Groups”. Some of the groups I am in for example – Advocators of the Nap, Women of MTU, and the Everyone Has More Sex Than Me Bunny Fan Club (long story hah)

But recently my friends and I have started our own club on thefacebook.com. It is called the Ass Spotters of MTU Club. It is a club basically for anyone who likes to look at “sweet ass” haha. How the heck did it start?? Well my friend Nick and I got into a discussion about what we look for in a person and he jokingly said “a nick butt but I know girls don’t look at butts so I won’t say that” I just had to laugh because ladies… we all know we look at butts too =) hah. So now we have the Ass Spotters of MTU club and you are looking at the ‘President of Male Ass Inspection’ =) The best part is however that once I said
“oh that girl looks really cute today”
my friend – “does she have a cute butt?”
“it looks cute today in that outfit”
so now my guy friends are like “Stacey, does She have a nice butt?” and I respond to them =) haha

But Anyway… =)

Broomball!!!! Broomball is a great sport that we play at Michigan Tech. Basically it is hockey but we use brooms and everyone is wearing shoes. Because Broomball isn’t difficult everyone can play and up at Tech everyone does play broomball. In one day over 150 teams signed up to play. You need 10 people per team by the way, so you can just tell how interested people are. =) Its pretty fun too because since it is so popular there are games going on All the Time so you go down there and your friend says “Hey come watch our game” and you just stick around after class and watch.

Ultimate Frisbee is still HEAVENLY! =) We do get chance to play it in the winter too. We rent out our gym’s multi-purpose room two nights a week and throw the disc around. In April we have 2 tournaments that we are really starting to prepare for. They are official UPA (Ultimate Players Association) games so it’s pretty intense… Its Exciting!!! =) hehe

Ummm… What else? =)

Winter Carnival was very fun =) It was a “merry”, very safe time with Good Friends and lots and lots of snow and vacation time =). It was cool because it wasn’t a long enough break for people to say “hey I’m going to go home instead” so almost everyone stayed at Tech and just had a blast. =) The Snow Sculptures were Amazing even though the weather was really warm and many of them had problems… Some of the main Amazing Statues were Spongebob Squarepants And Friends, The Doors to Atlantis, the Monster from 20,000 leagues under the sea, and Mario Bro.’s Water Level. Plus Jamiee, Jean, and Amy came up to visit me!!! =) Thank you Ladies =)

And By the Way… Janelle is having a baby back home!!!! Congratulations!!! And Nicky!!! Is getting Married!!!!! I can’t wait for the party this weekend Nicky =) I can’t wait to see you!!

Snowboarding up here has been absolutely Awesome!!! Talk about Amazing Fresh Powder everywhere =) Ahhhhhhh Heaven =)

And speaking of snowboarding a recent adventure of mine… last weekend at 12 midnight some of my guy friends (Nick and Rob) had just finished their broomball game and were going to go meet up with Nick’s parents at Indian Head. So what were they to do?? Why abduct Stacey of course and take her with them for an awesome day of boarding away from campus =) haha it was great =)

As far as the boy scenario there is info to be stated but for the curtsey of all my male friends who probably would not like to hear this info I shall refrain =) But in a nutshell I have been hanging out with lots of cool people and just getting out more which is nice =)

A really Cute Cute boy story that I Shall Not refrain from is as follows =)

My friend Gordon is on the Ultimate Frisbee Team with me and he is in the Military (specifically Army) ROTC program up here at Tech. Every once and a while the ROTC will have social events and today – roughly 2 hours ago =) hehe – the conversation was as follows:

G – Stacey can I ask you a question?
S – Sure
G – well.. the ROTC is having a Military Ball in a few weeks and…
G – eh eh?? Would you go with me

So yea =) hehe to make not so big of a girly thing about this – I was asked to a dance =) hehe and one at Tech too – so I will be able to dress up and stuff =) Yea! Being a girl again =)

But since school is almost done I started looking for a summer job and I am very fortune to have gotten a job at Fortune Lake Lutheran Camp this summer as a counselor. So I am really really excited about that – lots of mosquitoes (bad! Bad!) but life is grand.

Spring Break is just around the corner!! Whoo hoo – T-minus 5 days and I will be back in Esky for a week studying and bummin around. =) All you crazy kids back there if you are free give me a jingle and I hope I’ll be able to fit into your schedules. =)
